We grew from 235 to 290 residents
in the park this week. Welcome home
Winter Ranch residents!
Important Info From Park Management:
- Please start parking on your own sites as the park is starting to fill up and someone coming in should not have to wait for anyone to move a vehicle.
- It is time for those that have golf carts to start using the designated golf cart parking to make more room for cars as our parking space is limited.
- If you are planning on selling your mobile home, you need to list it first in the office. They need to be in the loop.
- If you are planning on doing any enhancements to your site including: cement work, installing rock, planting trees or bushes, you need to check with the office first. Don't put yourself in the position where you need to remove what you just put in because you did not check!
- The Mail Room has been receiving quite a bit of mail that does not have your box number on it. Take a look at your mail and if you have received something without that box number, make sure to correct that.
- Lynn and JD for planning such a fun-filled day on Halloween!
- Donna and Dave Lewis for the Philly cheese steaks lunch on Halloween! We heard that the potato salad wasn't up to our standards so we'll do better next time.
- Thanks also to Bob and Marie French and Judith Simpson for handing the Sundae Sunday event last week. We went from 15 people in October to 60 in November!
- Another big Thank you to Donna Lewis for the home made rolls this morning.
- The Veterans Day Brunch will be on November 9th at 10 AM. The menu includes scrambled eggs, biscuits, fruit cups and sausage. Price is $3.50 per person. Veterans eat free. Please get your tickets from the Activities Office so they know how much food to prepare. Veterans eat free but still need to come to the office to get a ticket!

- Wellness Screening is scheduled for November 12th at 7:00 AM.
- Symphonic Band Tickets for November 13th at 7 PM are available in the Office. The concert is entitled "This Is My Country". Cost of tickets is $5. We should know by Friday if we will have a bus going to the concert.

- You can sign up for tables for the New Year's Party now in the Activities Office.

- JD reported that ours is the only bus running at the moment and it still has a couple of things that needs done before we use it. Our bus should be ready to travel by Friday. Bus trips will be posted tomorrow for Border Patrol and the Symphony. You can only sign up yourself and your spouse/significant other. Don't sign up a group! We need to let everyone have a chance to get on a bus trip!
- Our Tour Director, Gail Field, has several Bus Trips listed on her Bulletin Board in Friendship Hall along with her business cards. Let her know if you are interested in any of them. Gail promoted her New Orleans Trip. She and Bruce do the whole thing and it is a custom trip. This is a six day, five night trip departing on February 18th.
