Wednesday, December 24th Morning Meeting News

We grew from 546  to 594

residents this week!

Have you ever been at Bingo when 6 people won the pot?  It happened here at Winter Ranch last Wednesday.
Linda Petersen, LaFay Farrow, Char Leach, Glenda Uselman, Bob Doddridge, and Sharon Huether so they all got a little over a $1 for winning that game!
Larry all decked out for Christmas!

Gail Fields, our shared Tour Director with Trophy Gardens, presented Lynn and JD and Larry and Cathy with some stick horses as a Christmas Gift to Winter Ranch to add to our fun!

Thank Yous

Cathy thanked the Christmas Carolers for stopping at her house yesterday.

Cathy also thanked everyone for their generosity during this season and the whole year round.  She thanked the people who contributed to the Good Samaritan project, the Angel Tree, The Christmas Stocking project, the Employees Christmas, the Quilters and Crocheters and for everything else we do to help this community.  It is just amazing!

JD and Lynn thanked everyone for attending the Roundup on Tuesday.  The Ugly Sweaters and t-shirts were great.  Some of them were really interesting!

Lynn thanked all the volunteers who help during the season.  It just would not be possible to do the things we do without you!

JD thanked the Jam Crew for last week.  You did a heck of a job.  We almost brought in $1000 so he is hoping that this next week we get that done!

And there will be a couple of games.  Dress up in you frayed jeans, tie dye shirts, love beads, head band, granny dresses, granny glasses, peace symbols, sandals, ankle bells or whatever else to bring out your inner Hippie.  Bring:  BYOB and appetizer to share with 12 people.  Napkins, plates and silverware will be provided.

Bob Ross Art Class - All you artists or would-be artists will want to know that the next Bob Ross class is on January 23rd. One class of 10 from 9 to
Noon and one from 1 to 4 PM. $45 per person.  Register soon in the Activities Office.  There are only 20 seats available. The instructor, Larry Weirs, provides everything you will need to complete a painting except for a roll of paper towels and wet wipes.  Specifics are on the Bulletin Board across from the Post Office. This is the painting that we will be doing!

The Fabulous 50’s will be our dance on January 30th.  They always do sell out crowds also.  JD will start reserving tables and selling tickets to Winter Ranchers on December 29th.  Their Manager has already presold 150 seats but their seats will not be reserved until after you have had a chance to reserve your tables.   Mary and Lee will be available starting at 9 AM to hand out numbers for ticket sales.  JD will begin ticket sales at 11:00 AM in Friendship Hall.  If you could get your groups together and then send one person to the hall with your checks, it would be helpful.  The line will move faster and no one will have to wait around forever.
