On Sunday at the beginning of the worship service Don Mueller and Marv Campbell had some fun with Pastor Frisbee. Don began by presenting him with an apron (that looked more like a bib) in recognition of his love of cooking.
Next it was a watermelon and a roll of “HEB’s finest paper towels.” During a previous message, Pastor Frisbee had mentioned liking watermelon especially when it drools down your chin while eating it. So the presentation was all in good fun.
Then the presentation became a little more serious. The quilting ladies made a quilt that was presented to him by Church Board President Marv Campbell.
He also presented the Christmas cards that were showered on the pastor by the congregation.
Once the presentations
were completed, the worship service proceeded as usual.
