Winter Ranch Quilt Show

The Fourth Annual Quilt Show was held from 9 AM to 1 PM on Tuesday, January 28th, in Friendship Hall.  The Show featured modern and antique quilt displays, quilted art, items for the home and quilted accessories.  In addition, there were door prizes, vendors, a craft boutique, and a Second Hand Rose Booth.

We had visiting quilters' groups from Trophy Gardens, Tropic Star, Alamo Rec Veh Park, the Alamo Country Club, and a large group from Pharr South, among others.

Refreshments were served and there were many many wonderful quilt displays.  There was a small admission fee of $2 which helped to raise money for the Quilters for the Needy Project.  This project provide quilts to the Winter Ranch 1st Responders, veterans' hospitals, The MAllen's Hospital Neonatal unit, Easter Seals Disabled Children's Programs, the Birthing Center and the Good Samaritan RGValley Project.
